@ sanitarium : Have you tasted Dezertnaja yet? I'm very interested in this hybrid because i really like the taste of Mespilus germanicus (Mispel, forgot the English name). Is it comparable?
I would also love to get some cuttings from this, if you were willing to send some to Germany. I could find no one here in Germany selling it.

Looks very interesting, i have never heard of them! Do you have any idea how cold-hardy they could be? Any chance they would grow in zone 7b/8a? Where do you got the cuttings?

I have some Vaccinium myrtillus plants from the wild, but i think its forbidden to send plants to the US (i live in Germany, where they grow wild). The yield from these plants is much lower than for cultivated blueberries, and they need even more acidic soil. But the taste is great, if you get enough of the small berries to taste it

. Less sweet and much more aromatic than blueberries, and blue inside (instead of white).

What means temperate in this case? How cold hardy is this cactus? Looks really cool.

I`m also very interested in Diospyros hybrids. Are their any successful crosses besides the Kaki x virginia hybrids?

Just wanted to add that "Maya-Rahmapfel" is not a cultivar name. Rahmapfel is the german name for cherimoya and Annona squamosa, so translate it just as "maya custard apple".
