Hi All, can anyone id this seedling for me??  my neighbor got the seeds last year in Cancun where they was growing wild around the Mayan ruins he said the fruit looked like loquat  however the skin was white and the flesh was the clear and somewhat crisp also the fruit did not hang in large clusters there was 1 large seed "about the size of a Loquat seed" round but pointed at both ends.                                              Thank  You Shane for posting this photo for me.              Regards       Patrick

are you making ameretto ??

Hi Fang, from my experence the VERY best way to plant them is to put the seed directly in the ground where you want the tree to grow this allowsthe very long taproot to develope properly you can always graft later if you wish

thinks Jeff i did not know that about compost i will have to check that out i plan on sending in a soil sample for testing, as for the rain water this is collected around my yard in buckets this last one was in a new clean bucket thanks john for that link the calibration on my tester is 6.9 as per manual . these are additional readings after reading your link distilled water=7.1   tap water=7.3  vinegar=2.4   milk=6.6  baking soda=8.1  it looks like my meter is right there tho a friend had already taken it to his job at the water dept. and checked it with the one used there
