rose apple are often used as a rootstalk  for wax jambu easy to grow from seed  and you can graft them later they are fruiting not in S.CA so seeds are easy to find.       Patrick

Hi , very east to grow  , i planted mine in a mix of pine bark and peat moss keep them in a shaded area and they do ok for me, if you realy want them to grow fast then you might try misting them often also they sell a fertilizer for orchids you might try that.  best of luck.   patrick
