Myrtus communis fruit can be eaten fresh, but even if sweet, it is a bit adstringent, and have almost no pulp. Basicaly it's the skin, 1mm of flesh and a bunch of hard seeds.
The leaves can be used the same way as bay leaves for seasoning meats with a strong taste (game species). The fruits are used in some mediterranean islands to prepare a very good liquour, specially in Corsica, where it is called "Liqueur de Myrte".
Hope it helps.

Looking at  the flowers and leaves, it looks like something from the Apocynaceae family, but not a clue on which species.

Those are good prices GB. A long time ago Jackfruit Whisperer in your town made lots of contributions on this forum.

Hi Mike. Yes, I always try to keep prices on a decent range, so anyone can aford it.
About Steven (Jackfruit Whisperer), he is almost my neighbour, he lives about 1 mile from my place, but there's a long time I don't see him. I used to trade with him and sometimes buy some of his stuff, but lately he seems to have disapeared; a while back I tried to contact him a couple of times, but he never answered.

Ps. I forgot to include some Inga seeds on the listing.
Updating soon.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Grafting verry young seedlings

I don’t think I can grow plum or walnut here in Florida but the videos are informative on grafting techniques.

I think you may can; you just need to find a variety that requires low chill, and it should do fine.

At my place we rarely go under 10C (about 50F), and we have both, and they produce just fine.
And just to clarify, it's not any tropical species that I'm growing, but just some Prunus domestica hybrids, and Juglans regia. Juglans nigra also grows very well here.

Hi Mike,
By june, if all is ok already, just remember me about that.

Hi Nelio, my plants are finally ready too. Once all this has ended I would like some Molina scions.
Thanks!

Stay safe everybody.

Hi Christian,

new sweet A.lakoocha added

are you sure that the seeds are fertile? I am asking because a friend has a single producing tree, but the seeds are all infertile, the do not germinate...

Felipe, that might be a problem of lack of cross polination that makes your friend's tree produce infertile seeds.
I've received in the past Lakoocha seeds from 2 different sources, and they were viable.

I recently received a couple of Psidium catleyanum plants from N้lio that I will try to grow in our winter garden here in Denmark. Plants look very healthy and have already flowered, so I hope to see fruits sometime not too far into the future. I warmly recommend this seller. Sune N., Denmark

Thank you very much Sune, for your feedback.
It was a pleasure to do business with you.
Hope the plants will do nicelly with you.

You might want to try to force it to flower using calcium carbide.

Seeds still stand a good germination rate at 70%, now it's good time to sow papaya seeds for summer harvest.

Any images of the ones you germinate about 6 months ago? Did they bear fruit already?

Couldn't it be some type of Davidsonia?

Pitanga (Eugenia uniflora) grows quite fast, and if planted close to which other is almost impossible to cross by. Also once established doesn't need regular watering, and only some pruning once in a while. I've seen them being used here for that purpose with very good results.
