Peter and Radoslav, ants love to eat "honeydew" from scale insects, but if You dont find any pests i think this disease is the effect of these pots that you set at the top and to short day (shading trunk, trunk humidity, hindering the access of air to the roots - it all increases the risk of fungal diseases). Sometimes the conditions in the cultivation of the home tend to be unfavorable for this type of plant. Radoslav did You use artificial lighting to reduce bad exect of to short day? Magostan is very sensitive to such things.

In some regions, transfer of durian (even only seeds) is prohibited. It is probably because of durian smell.  I mean: do you have any bad experience with stopping shipments by customs or other service?

Hi Anto. 1 for 100-300 seedling will flower after about 1 year. Most seedling trees usually begin fruit production after 3 to 5 years, but in container/pot it can be longer.

Most plants can easily survive 1-2 or even 3 weeks spent in the package ( if the road will not overcooling and will be sent in due time , in terms of physiological stage of life of the plant ). So good priority post service should be enough, though its expensive. Unfortunatelly Ondrej write: only EU.

HIfarm, try with some palms or olives tree. Sometimes it takes 3-24 months to germinate. In my opinion most seeds with hard, woody schields germinate slowly. Its take long because moisture needs time to wake embryos.

Im sorry, but i have to write it: sphagnum and coco coir is not perfect because of very fast drying and is poor in terms of ingredients useful for plant (trace elements etc). It is better to mix it with some sand, perlite and vermiculite +mineral soil +compost to have really good soil.


High-speed germinating small seeds need a different soil than long germinating and large seeds. Its long story and need a long practice and patience to find good solutions.
