I grabbed 3 little borojoa trees off Ebay. They are doing well, new growth and adjusted well to repotting. Seems to be a slow grower, so starting from seed is probably going to take a while even if you can germinate. Seeds probably need to be fresh.

If it is the same thing I went to a year or so ago, then it is a little open house of sorts. A few vendors were selling various edible plants, orchids, ornamentals, and some other rare plants. Little bit of food. They were offering tours around the facility, not just the mango trees.

It's worth going, even if it isn't what it used to be. Fairchild is nice on a bad day. They do sell trees from the Fairchild farm, and they've offered local mangoes every year I've gone. Missed it last year, but would surprised if there are no local and Fairchild grown mangoes.

Willing to travel north for more mango festivities as well!

red lady is doing great for us here in south Florida. large delicious fruits and very productive. ours is probably 8 to 9 feet tall.

Hello everyone. I have a biriba/rollinia tree in-ground that is probably 9 feet or more. It has what appear to be a few tiny flowers starting to pop out, first time it has flowered. Almost all of the leaves have recently dropped, has to be from the cold spells. Is it a good idea to fertilize now or should I just leave it be? It has been about 3+ months since last fertilization. Thanks!
