The reason I was asking was because I am getting scion wood next month and I don't want to mess up. So I can't really use the approach graft method .

the  reason i was asking was because i am going to use this rooting gel that i used on guava cutting din't look like if they had any disease they still had leaves so i was checking the leaves, so i am going to use the rooting gel on the banana pup corm because the person that sold it to me knocked off all the roots ?

I don't know if i am going to be able to get graft wood for my guava scions that are coming this month. so could i just root them without getting bad effects later on when they are growing if it even works.
