Thanks, Bhkkatemoya, sure lets make another order pool!

Hi, JF,

Which cherimoyas are on the sweeter side and consistent from this list?
I have 3 gallon El bumpo from HD, but it may or may not be true labeling.
Is the Helmut available?
Also still interested to get the Calostro, Birula and Randhir wood if available.

Thanks,
FruitFool

Bhkkatemoya,

May I tag along your order too?

I don't need 10 scions but I am interested in Big red sugar apple scion.
I work around Mira mesa too.

I would like to add 3 big red sugar apple  scions if you are ok with adding me to your order.

Thanks,
FruitFool

Hi, Guyaba,

I am really interested in knowing your Illama taste profile when it fruits.
Last time I went to Bonita Creek nursery they had Illama tree but at that time I did not get it.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Do cherimoyas grow true from seed?
« on: December 18, 2016, 05:29:40 PM »
Hi, All,

I am trying to sprout seeds from store bought cherimoya fruit I liked.

I read somewhere that the sugar apples do grow true from seeds.
Do the seed grown cherimoya fruits taste similar to fruits from mother tree?

Hi, All,

I have been visiting this forum last few months but it did not let me register till now.
I am based in San Diego, CA and have small yard.

I love fruits, especially Mangos and Sugar apples. Started to buy and taste chrimoya fruits from grocery/Atkins nursery recently.
Just started getting trees, I have Lemon Zest and Mallika Mango, African Pride Atemoya, Sirneyvi and Parfianka Pomegranate and Peter's honey fig, Kishu and Gold Nugget Mandarin, all in pots, most in 5 gl. Wishlist -- sweetheart lychee, 4 season longan, GA 866 Jujube, Big Red Sugar apple, El bumpo cherimoya.

Hoping to learn from forum gurus and contribute.

Thank you,
FruitFool

I am also interested in both. Let me know if you still have seeds available.
