Sometimes I get tired of sweet acid mango and like the southeast asian taste of nam doc mai .Some say it is not good but if not over fertilized and not over ripe it's still very very good.If you like sticky rice it's a must

It's funny the smells that come from jaks I have one I call onion very strong onion smell but does not translate in to the flesh taste thank goodness I sold 1 of those two days ago 59 lbs large pegs very crisp salmon color that was seedling of comppo groba others have awesome aromas ,and then there are those that smell like dirty socks! thank god it does not taste that way but ,some asian woman liked that the smell I guess they are accustomed to the aromas of jaks largest jak for me has been borneo red at 79.5 lbs. This year so far biggest goes to fairchild sweet 74lb that seems like early jak.

« on: April 26, 2017, 12:21:07 PM »
Atemoya in our low land hot humid climate of south fl is always smaller ,if you can get one up 1lb it's good ,1.5lb to 2lb great ,so if 5 or 6lb fruit can average 2lb here that's awesome.

anona chalcid wasp how to deal with?

It's not that I don't like softer jaks but those old types just to bland and it's not just me but my clientele would not buy and that's consensus
