« on: February 28, 2018, 01:33:52 AM »
If you like big, crunchy and sweet guavas, this is it. Crystal is the best guava, this variety fruits all season long. It is so good that i had to top worked all of my guava trees to this variety. Get yours before it is too late.

Thanks for the scions xue :)

If you like big crispy you need guava Pen....and if you like more sweet and crispy you need from taiwan. I buy 2 times crystal guava in Singapore and has no taste, nothing.

It's really hard to get the seeds to sprout. Not sure why. Here they also need hand pollination. Seems we are lacking the proper insect pollinator.

yes very difficult to get the seeds to sprout when the damn APHIS takes the ones that sprouted en route.  ARGH

What is that animal Aphis, a monkey or bird?

It's not nice for other sellers who use only 1 thread for their shop.

Would you like it if another seller put 10 new threads every day?

If the first one is full you make a second one but 4 is so much. And i know others do that also so i hope they read this and stop doing it. This is not chinese market where people push eachother away.

37
Why you need so many threads on this page? I see 4 threads all from you, why not put them all into 1 ?

Hello,

I'm riding an irrigation system here in southeastern Brazil, I have 1500 mm of rainfall a year, but my winter is dry, cold and windy, dehydrated plants, I want to use drip, which flow would you recommend me for each Score?

I'm seeing drippers of 4 and 10 liters per hour, is that enough?

I do not use mulchi because I have many snakes and they love to stay under the mulchi

Thank you!

I also have snakes, and scorpions giant centipedes and they like dead leaves.

But for your dripper you need to see how many can work on your pressure. Also with the pump you can still not go endless ...you have to test it first before building. And for sprayer you sure not good pressure or they don't spray but drip.

Anything really. Polys obviously. But just not kp. After more unusual.

In shop here we have R2E2 from australia, but is not nice haha.

If you grow the seed mango you have to wait so long and the tree will be very big. You need grafted.

You best find somebody who have mangotree and do airlayering technique. So you can have nice fruit in few year.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Guava from taiwan

Did it have seeds?

The sweetest best tasting green skinned crunchy guava I’ve ever eaten was what I believe is an Indonesian or Thai seedless guava.

Simon

I ate indonesian guava but they were so tasteless...and thai seedless also taste bad, no flavour.

We have sweet one for eating crispy but from Taiwan is much better. I will ask my friend for clone his tree and replace mine.

His tree always has fruit but have to wait long time before it is ripe.

Thai guava always look very nice green but that is from spray chemicals. My friend grow in bags from white fabric but then the fruit get gray.

His guava has seeds but not much, he said Taiwan has more new variety so i will try to find it.

did you take a picture of it?

No my battery was empty, but it has white flesh baseball size.

I hope the Taiwan members can tell about the new guava's, they have more new varieties.

My friend gave me a guava from his new tree, that is from Taiwan.

It was best guave i ever had, very nice sweet with fresh sour. He grow it organic in special bags to protect from sun. It was not nice green but grey skin but taste was very good. Better then all the Thai guava's.

Have you tried these guava's? They are new he said.

Seedlings should show red pigmentation in the leaves pretty fast, so not to much time would be wasted growing them.

sunny if you can get seed pm me

Yes the fresh leave is red color,

Hi guys. New to the page. I'm just trying to track down some of the more unusual mango varieties. From seeds or seedlings is fine.

What mango do you want?
