So I have two juvenile/mature trees producing a ton of flowers, but zero fruit set.  I've watched hand pollination videos where you can easily see the pollen when brushed off of the male flowers into a container.  My flowers on both my custard apple and soursop trees don't seem to have any pollen.   I've tried at all times of the day.  Why may this be?  Is it possible for a young tree to produce flowers but be too young to produce fertile pollen? Or is a tree considered mature once it starts to produce flowers and I have a different problem?

Any ideas/help would be great.  Trees are about 6-8ft each.

There is an older pretty lengthy post on this subject but I'd like to get fresh opinions. I've only had SES 2 variety from Fruit and Spice park. I'm in that same area. It's really good and Fruits we'll. I wouldn't be upset if that's the variety I plant next. I currently have a Redland variety that hasn't fruited yet. Any recommendations if I get another variety ?? Also, any information on the taste quality of the Redland? Thank You.

I'm not trying to make a habit of posting pics of unknown mangos, so I swear this is the last one. This tree was removed by my father in law last year and he wants to know the cultivar. It's going to be something more common like Kent or Haden; but I'm not sure. The photo was taken June 26 so you can see the stage the mangos are in. What do you think? Sorry, wish I had better pics but this is all we had

I bought this tree from a reputable grower and it was supposed to be Mahachanok but the mangos don't have the typical elongated "thai" shape that I've seen before. What do you think?

So I have a few Ruby Supreme Guava trees and my neighbor commercially grows Asian Guava, so I'm pretty much covered there. However, I really enjoy the small, yellow-skinned pink fleshed guavas that are no bigger than a golf ball.  I believe a lot of them come from Mexico.  Anybody know what variety that is? Can they be grown adequately in deep south florida area?  Thank You.

I'd I'm taking my custard apple out of the ground this weekend to plant an avocado in that location.  I'd like to trade it rather than replant it.  It will be in a pot with fresh soil.  I'd like to trade for 15/25 gallon size Seedless White Grapefruit, White Sapote, or Jackfruit.  Reply to Thread or PM me. Anybody have experience with this??

So my aunt has a tree in her backyard planted around 30 years back by the former owners (a Jamaican couple).  After all these years, I noticed it looked awfully like my sapote trees, especially by the new flush and flowers.  On the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of a fruit.  The fruit looks like a type of Mammea  Americana (Mamey Apple) but the seeds look like Sapote Seeds and I cannot find any photos anywhere for a Mamey Apple that has anything other than the large brown woody pit looking seeds.  I cut the fruit open (pre-ripe fruit) and the orange tinge also makes me think its a mamey apple.  Too bitter to determine via taste at this point.   Its a massive tree that only produces a handful of fruit every year.  My guess is that if its a mamey apple tree, it must be a female and somehow a male in the area is scarcely helping to pollinate it.  But the leaves also look more like a sapote than a mamey apple. I'm confused.  Any thoughts?

Will pay for mango scions from Sweet Tart & E-4 Mango cultivars.  If you have a producing tree, I will come cut a few new growths off, pay you and leave.  You won't even know I was there.  Want to graft onto some of my current mango trees. Please let me know. Preferably Broward County or South. Thank You!!!
