Those slides encourage farmers to dump extra fertilizers to increase production, at a low quality point that they can get away with. Those methods have NOTHING to do with home gardening. For home gardening we want the best quality, not what the slides advocate.

If you understand what the slide "The Nitrogen Relationship" means, you can discard the rest of the slides.

In theory, yes. Maybe you should water it until it has deep roots to take up enough water to handle the wind.

I'm from Southern part of The People Republic of California. Sometimes I got stopped heading back to Orange County from San Diego. One time I braked late and got held back for full inspection. One time I got stopped from heading back to Sacramental from Reno.  Sometimes I got stopped heading back to OC from Las Vegas. One time I got held for a minute when I had 2 potted plants, bought from Home Depot in Las Vegas. The agent let me kept those 2 pots.

Sometimes I saw dogs walking around the check points. Sometimes agents had me rolled down the windows for air sampling. Those got my heart pumping!

Those checkpoints have random inspections. When the lights are green, drive at common speed. When the lights are yellow, drive slow. Agents either wave you through or stop you. When the lights are red, agents will be talking to you. They could be air sampling or have dogs sniffing your car.

There is a local road you can use to bypass check point near Barstow. I'm not sure about Northern nor Southern routes.

Either seedless guava pollen are low potency or seedless guava flowers require pollen from another tree. I'm not sure which one, or both.

My mom's friend had 1 fruit on her tree. Her other friend had 5 fruits.

I don't want to look at fruitless tree, so I get 2 fruit going. I'll not intervene on the rest of the flowers.

I had no success with pollinating seedless guava flowers with their own pollen.

I picked newly opened, guava with many seeds, flower and rubbed it on the seedless flower. I did this on 2 flowers and got 2 fruits.

I would wait out to get what I want.

I removed 2 Logan tree since they did not bear many fruit. I did not water them because they always had big green leaves. 

There is a linear drop of Brix vs rain in nectarines. Maybe mango has the same problem as nectarine.
