My friend has a lychee tree on the ground here in San Jose for over 10 years and it never have one fruit. Her tree is huge, taller than her house here in San Jose. Not sure why it isn’t fruiting.

Guys, how come everyone dragon fruits look big and mine looks super small? What in the world is this variety? It's just one inch big??? I have 6 fruits and they are all riped, but super duper small cheese..

Guys, so if I only have a Haas, will I get fruit? Do I need to cover my Haas in my Bay Area 9B zone? It got down to 28 degree this past winter for couple days :-/.

Hello, anyone here knows if Li Jujube really need Lang Jujube to produce lots of fruits? I have a big Lang tree and I don't really like this type and planned on replacing it with the Sugar Cane Jujube. I have 2 Li Jujube trees.

Also, this year my Jujube trees have very soft fruits on the trees. I mean the fruits still on the trees now and when I hold onto it, it's soft and not hard or like those crunchy type like how I had it last year. Last month I have tons of fruitlets on these trees, but somehow, it dropped a lot of fruits. I deep water it every 2-3 days, but last year it watered less. Wonder if I water too much? Thanks

Thanks for the explanation Rob. The pot I bought is very small, so I would like to buy a 25-gallon pot and make 4x4' trellis in the middle like some posters on this thread.. can you tip me on what to do to not kill my plant? Can I just cut the current pot I have and then just put the entire plant onto the new pot with more potting soil?
