something really different,  maybe dig it down in winter 1 foot or souse the soil as berm for trees and raise crawfish in the pond there  are a lot of good edible plants that grow in water or muck and you will never have to feed the crawfish

Hi all, I have seen pictures posted in the past of fruiting papaya plants where the stems on the fruit look to be about 3 inches long, is there a variety known for this? or is this caused by something? it did not look like thinning . I would really like to grow some like that as they look so easy to pick.      Regards   Patrick

no they do'not make you sleepy but the tea does help you sleep more restfully . btw eating the fruit has never made me or anyone I know sleepy

thanks for the reply pinkturtle I have tried it both ways and give it to my wife for high blood pressure I was hoping that someone could tell me if they where more potent and had more of the compounds in them that made them good for a medicinal tea at a new leaf verses a old mature leaf not concerned about the taste

Hi all, when making tea from white sapote leaves is it best to use new young leaves as in the new spring growth when they are fresh and light green, or it it better to wait till later in the year when the leaves are darker and more mature ?
