Alexandre I would never doubt you or my other Brazilian friends.

All of this seems like a non-issue, it doesn't seem like we need more subdivisions.  If you are annoyed that some posters don't list their region, that is another matter & maybe it should get added to requirements to post.

I have a lot of bitches with international sales & I am sure I have been burnt a lot worse than you.  I don't see that as a reason for more subdivisions.

As for:
"Seems like too many international sellers’ offerings that of no interest to most of us, US residents that do not live in the Tropics. To those that have Green Houses or want to pursue the “Tropical” offerings, they can still do it too."
If this bothers you, why the &*%@ are you on a tropical fruit forum?  (an international one at that)

John

I tend to agree with John on this one. And wish to say that most of the people who I trade with or sell / buy to are from the USA and in non tropical areas. All that will happen is that if there was a domestic subgroup then international buyers would see something they like, PM them and of cause they will probably still post out internationally.

Yes....they are getting a 2nd batch.....but that's it for the season after that.  Not many fruit this year.

Sclerocarya birrea subsp caffra is known as the marula...you are right.

Dovyalis caffra is known as the kei apple or wild apricot and is frost hardy also to a degree (this would be based on the size of the plant and how long the frost last for I guess)

Hi All

Ex Zimbabwe by Registered Post.  Postage will be between USD$9 and USD$28 depending on the size of the order.

Sclerocarya birrea subsp caffra USD$2 each

Dovyalis caffra USD$2.50 each

Rothmannia manganjae USD$1.50 each

Also some Garcinia humilis (fresh) trade only on these though.

PM for orders

Delicious.......get a plant while you can.

Not sure on the age of the plant to fruit....probably depends on the size of the rhizome.

Average size of fruit is the size of an open hand.

I don't even know the collection site.....i know that they have to travel a few hours to get there, there are numerous plants in that area growing close together probably rhizome of shoots.  Move a few metres from the area and nothing...no further plants.  I am actually quite amazed at this species rarity, the distribution areas are very small.

This season fruiting apparently had a very small number of seeds per fruit to normal...more flesh and pulp.

Hi All

Ex  Zimbabwe the hard to get dwarf Annona stenophylla is in season, collected fresh today.  USD$3 per seed, as the seeds are small we can get away with seeds in a card or letter for USD$ 9.00 registered anywhere in the world with Zimpost from Zimbabwe.

Very fleshy orange pulp with a sweet flavour.  Also ideal for pot growing due to its dwarf size.

PM for order.

Note it is also in the discussions area which was a mistake as I was half a sleep when posting, but have advised the administrator...sorry all.

Well done Mike. I really like the red colouring of the flowers on this Annona, plus they look pretty large to.

Which area of Indonesia is he?

I have just started corresponding with him.  He is in central Java, in Temanggung.  It sounds like he also has friends on other islands as well who can help supply other things.

John

Thanks John

Is this Dome project more for fruit species or highly vulnerable / endangered species?

71
Your the best. Thanks Bud...I just ordered some.

Cheers

72
May not be....but probably best to remove infected leaves and stems on tree and purchase a liquid copper from your garden centre.  They will advise what to do. It is some type of fungal I think.

73
Hi Lory

No sure but could be anthracnose (fungal)
