Orders for sweet Garcinia indica seeds are coming many but I might get hardly 50 as there are only 10 fruits This time I am sorry to say that I will not be able to give seeds to new persons Here is very much difficulty in sending seeds abroad Post offices are not accepting seeds without plant quarantine  certificate to get which one has to register with India Gov't as exporter even to send 10 seeds abroad Only regular customers of DHL should approach them That is not easy at all to send seeds through DHL from India

I have about 200 seeds of Elaeagnus latifolia wildly grown in tropical climate of Kerala collected by Mr Chandramohan
This fruit is 6 cm long but thinner and sweet when fully ripe and fallen from the shrub
People have Soh Shang from subtropical/temparate climate of Meghalaya

There was some interest on this edible root
After I got the small tubers,it seems no one is interested
Pods are not allowed on the climbers as the roots loose their taste
so no seeds will be available until I grow them personally

The root of this plant, which tastes like coconut pulp, is edible and is eaten with sugar. Tribes harvest this tuber in summer. The tuber is medicinal and is eaten to quench thirst. Traditionally, the fleshy roots of this plant is used as alternative tonic and stimulant
