Yumberry? Acerola? Marang? Chempedak? Any of those available?

For the most part, I would just want to go when the most fruit would be in season, but some specifics would be caimito ( of course ), soursop, and some different Garcinias (specifically G. Mangostana, G. Prainiana, and G. intermedia). Does anybody in Miami sell Quararibea cordata/chupa chupa? I thought I had heard that they were illegal but I'm not sure.

It's pretty much been decided that I am getting a trip to Miami for my birthday. When would be the best time of year to go? I'm not really comfortable with giving out the month of my birthday, but suffice to say that not much fruit would be in season...

Ok. Thanks  ;D My birthday isn't actually until August.  :P I thought I'd get a jump and find out. And also, when would the best time to go be? Would it be best to go more like sometime around July? (fruit availability-wise)

I'm asking for a trip to Miami for my birthday because of the wide availability of rare fruit. The specific places in Miami that I want to go are Fruit And Spice Park, and the William Whitman Rare Fruit Pavilion (that is open to the public, right?) Any more biggies that I'm missing?

that might be a personal question Mr Caimito wishes not to discuss.

Yay! I found it!

Thanks  ;D

Correct  :(

I'm not allowed to buy anything unless it's ordered from a website.

The problem is, I recently discovered that I am only allowed to buy fruit if it's on a website. So if you get a website... maybe. But if I did buy them, it wouldn't be right now. Thanks a bunch though   ;D

Super sour, and have a weird taste. Kind of like the kerosene-y taste that BMc described.

They said on the website "Our finger limes range from dark green to burgundy." They lied. I got dark green and really dark green (nearly black)
And suffice to say that they were no good.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Finger limes - buy or not?
« on: January 07, 2013, 02:03:44 PM »
I'm having trouble deciding if I should buy finger limes or not. If I did, they would be from www.goodlandorganics.com. The reason I am indecisive about them is that I'm not sure about the flavor. Will the taste more or less like a lime, or will they be sweeter? Are they commonly eaten out of hand, or not? I need to decide quickly because the next shipment is tomorrow.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Cherimoya help
« on: January 07, 2013, 01:54:39 PM »
I successfully sprouted 4 cherimoyas ( using the 4 day soak technique ) and now that I've sprouted them, I've realized that I don't know what to do with them. When I say that, I mean that I don't know the sun requirements, watering requirements or anything. I probably could have found these things out with Google, but I thought it would be better to ask the experts.
