I have Inga Spectabilis and Inga Jinicuil on my list to get since they have huge pods. Not sure about the taste though. I hope someone can chime in here about them.I have spectabilis. The pods are huge, lots of pulp, and the taste is really great.
I started grafting yesterday on my cherimoya. Gonna continue the rest today. It seems it can be peeled rather easily:

Hi! I'm interested in buying 2 or 3 Jaboicabas - my first ones. What would you recommend for 1. ease of fruiting in containers and 2. the best but most different flavors. Thanks.
Also, where's the best place to read on how to grow and fruit these plants?
You can try growing the red jabo ,the grimal or coronata var restinga. The red jabo and coronata restinga are early bearing which start fruiting in three years. The red jabo like what i read can be easily grown in container and seems to be fast growing and i have one seedling nearly 4 months. The coronata restinga and grimal can handle tap water
Mark, at one of the Orange county scion exchanges 3-4years ago I asked Julie Frink about Arivipa taste and she said was not that good!
I've got it growing too outside but no flowers yet still small but healthy.
that's impressive growth! What do you feed them and how often?
I might feed them 2 or 3 times a year. Any well balanced slow release fertilizer is fine. The key is constant, soaking water. Every day.
