Hello Everyone;

I bought this great ( was ) Looking Guanabana Tree in the Farms Down in Miami.
I was sent to work Floridas Panhangle and the frost got to it before we could cover it up.

I scratcged the tree bark & its Green, Is there hope for this tree, Or is it dying Slowly.
If it can be saved, How should i treat it ? ..

Where did you get Your Guanabana Tree ? I need Help Finding a Good Size Tree.
The Nurseries seem to have the Guanabana Trees with a Thin Trunk & afew leaves with No Branches.

Is that the Norm for Guanabana Trees?

I returned The MW avacado Tree To My Local HD, The Other 1 left was sold ;(.
So i bought 2 Citrus Trees , 1 Tangelo & The Other Pumera Grape Fruit.

Ill wait to the Fairchild Mango Fest To Buy some good Mango Fruit & Trees.
Some Avacados Too.

So is it too late for this tree ? i think i will dig it up tomorrow & take it back to my Local HD, They had another MW Avacado 15 Gal.

The reason i didnt water daily , i was monitoring the moisture level and it read above 7.0.
so i figure it was ok, i didnt want to over water, it was flowering too ;(.

Im in zone 9 st augustine fl , i planted it 1 week ago , watered it 2 times in 1 week , plant it level to the pot it came in.

How long do you think i should wait, before i take it back ?

Hello ;

I Bought & Planted the avocado tree about 1 week ago , looks good at my local HD.
Planted it, then a few days later it started to look a lil wilted.
1st tree i planted that turned out this way.

any idea whats causing this ? or should i take it back to my local HD?

Hello Everyone;

Newbie to the Forum. Amature Fruit Tree Grower .
Favorites :

Mangos
Avacados
Guanabana
Banana Trees .

I live In NE Florida , New to this area lost lots of fruit trees to the last frost ;( .. Bought a green house & im starting all over again ..

So far I Pulled everything Dead in my garden , & Replanted a 15 Gal Mexican Winter Avacado Due to the Cold Hardy nature of the tree , im really a fan of the West Indian & South/Central Avacados but those dont do well in St Augustine .

Thanks again , anyone with extra Mango & Avacado Bud-wood please let me know , i can pay via PP Or Money Order ..

Also would like to buy Fresh Guanabana Seeds..

Hello;

Im Ed New To The TFF,Been Lurking for a while , learn lots from this Forum !
Im a member of Bananas.org as well same Nick .

New To NE Florida , been here 1 year started to Grow :
Avacado & Mango Trees , all Killed By The latest frost here in NE Florida.
Since i bought a green house & i am starting again to acquire New Mango & Avacado trees.

Also wood like to try my hand at Grafting this spring.

Most of my Fruit Trees where purchased at Pine Island , Bens Grove a bought a Guanabana Tree .
Home depot and some other Nursery's in the Miami Area .
My Banana Plants from Don at going Bananas , all of the above are great folks to deal with.
