Respectfully I don't exactly understand what you're trying to accomplish.  On their own soursop branches elongate and tend to droop down.  It would seem to me that your fruit, which are naturally large and heavy, might be practically on the ground when ripe.

Every fully grown tree I have seen has grown almost vertical and fruit is quickly out of reach.

If you can show me a photo of a naturally drooping soursop tree I'd be interested in seeing that.

This is an exception:
Observe the growth habit shown here which is about the best I have seen. He doesn't go into early training but shows pruning to eliminate the apical dominance. You can see he has stopped vertical growth over 8 feet:

Great set up PI! I really hope that breadfruit makes it, also your experiment reminded  me of the method used in Ghana for mango plantations. I think itís a great idea.
