Maha Chanok, anyone selling these?
« on: June 25, 2012, 11:13:18 PM »
I am thinking of planting a Maha Chanok based on all the great reviews but would really like to try one beforehand. Is anyone selling this mango?

Excalibur has them if you are in south fl. That is pretty much it. Plant o gram may have some to but they are just Excalibur trees being resold.

I don't know anyone selling the fruit. I've planted out a number of them but they are 2 seasons away from a crop of any significance.

I believe he is looking for fruit so he knows if he wants to purchase the plant.  I think it will be difficult to near impossible to find the fruit for sale.

I am dying to get one too, no nursery is willing to ship to CA except PlantoGram and they want $99 for tree and $99 for shipping. Ouch!  My best bet is scion wood and graft, that too is hard to get scion donor.
