There is no official ID - unidentified garcinia species from the americas. Was labeled as "Rusty" by Felipe Osborne (since passed away) in Puerto Rico.

seeds of felipe osborne’s plants were from me.   its a local sp from nw ecuador at around 1500 m., tho it does well here at 500.  unidentified sp as far as i know, i call it g. sp “LC”   good sized tasty fruits, variable all the way from quite acid to sweet.

I bought five seeds of those from abimael. Unfortunately none sprouted. As far as I know it is an unidentified species. Felipe grew it as garcinia sp. Rusty.
