Hi All

Ex  Zimbabwe the hard to get dwarf Annona stenophylla is in season, collected fresh today.  USD$3 per seed, as the seeds are small we can get away with seeds in a card or letter for USD$ 9.00 registered anywhere in the world with Zimpost from Zimbabwe.

Very fleshy orange pulp with a sweet flavour.  Also ideal for pot growing due to its dwarf size.

PM for order.

Note it is also in the discussions area which was a mistake as I was half a sleep when posting, but have advised the administrator...sorry all.

Not sure on the age of the plant to fruit....probably depends on the size of the rhizome.

Average size of fruit is the size of an open hand.

I don't even know the collection site.....i know that they have to travel a few hours to get there, there are numerous plants in that area growing close together probably rhizome of shoots.  Move a few metres from the area and nothing...no further plants.  I am actually quite amazed at this species rarity, the distribution areas are very small.

This season fruiting apparently had a very small number of seeds per fruit to normal...more flesh and pulp.

Zimbabwe is more temperate. Dry and low humidity in winter with almost no rain.  Nights can be cool in winter.

You should attempt germination pretty well ASAP.  I know people in Russia & Italy with them.
