Avocado leaf
« on: January 30, 2018, 04:31:52 PM »
I am in zone 9b. My avocado trees have large brown spots on them as if burned, the center of the spots are dry and cracking. Spots begin in center of leaf not border edges. What is this ?remedy?

Thank you

I did some research and believe the leaf damage is due to lace bugs. The trees are near flowering and they usually shed most of the leaves so I will wait until the fruit is set to take any action on the new leaves.

Yes this bug has done this identical thing to my avocados. Was hoping the freezes took out the bugs. Time will tell although I know they will be back.
