Pine bark fines
« on: October 05, 2012, 01:52:25 PM »
Where can I find pine bark fines? I checked my local Home Depot, Lowes and Walmart with no luck. Anyone know were to find it in the Ft. Lauderdale area or up to Palm Beach area? I will be up there tomorrow.

The Buschel Stop sells em. ~$2.50 a bag.

The is one one Griffin road about 2-3 miles West from I 75 on the left.

I must say that the Pine Bark Fines they sell dont like other Pine bark fines in sourced in other states that looks similair to the expensive orchid bark ones.

There are several sources for pine fines in the Orlando area but I do not know of any in South Florida.

The pine bark fines are in your standard mulch size bag at that particular WalMart which is a generous quantity @$2.50. I got some there after you told me. They also have a cow manure for only $1.30 a bag. Lots of sand in that composted cow manure but still a good deal compared to Home Depot top soil at the same price. I would rather have something dark and rich for my soil with some (composted) cow poop in it

There it was all the time, staring you in the face. Buried within the message itself, is the key..

Thanks for all the help. I did find some at a Walmart in Palm Beach. It was on Belvedere and 441.
