Where did you get the shatoot from?

Send me a pm

The shatoot came from Just Fruits close to Tallahassee.
I was coming back from Georgia where my wife's family lives. With my wife and two kids
in a SUV I managed 4 trees. I thought my oldest kid could have found a ride and I could get
one more tree but my wife said no? Two of the trees were 5'-6' feet in 7 gallons. Nothing like
driving 250+ miles with a car full of trees with the family.

The tree was grown from a cutting along with a jujube I bought. I can't get shatoot or jujube
to grow from a cutting. Really nice nursery and nice owner!

Score! Just Fruits & Exotics is awesome. I've ordered from them before.

The shatoot has to be grafted, but I have root stock available :D

I'll PM you in a sec. Thanks.

Nice list of mulberries!  Where did you get your Thai Dwarf mulberry from?  How does it taste compared to your other mulberries?
Does it have large fruit and super productive like flyingfoxfruits Adam's Thai Dwarf?  Here are his pics:

There's another guy in FL that has a Thai Dwarf he calls World's Best.  Here's his video:

I got my cuttings today. Thank you for the extras. Already have them in pots and they just enjoyed their first rain storm.

Forgot to post here a while back. Mike sent me some extra cuttings last month and most are already producing new growth and small roots in a jar of water.
Thanks,
Keith

A friend of mine living in mexico told me that the Gogg plum could only be propagated by 4cm 5cm thick cuttings ?
I have no experience with that crop, have you succeeded to propagate it with thinner cuttings ?

What is the variety you have ?

I have not tried to root cuttings. I sent cuttings last year that were 1-3 cm and
I was sent pictures and all of them had leaves and were rooting fine? I may try later this
year an get another tree going in my front yard. The type I have is the red fruited.
I have eaten several types and have another type in my yard and the red is my favorite
so far.
