« on: June 06, 2019, 09:55:31 AM »
Ι wonder if i can do air layering to pistachio tree, from seed will surely do many years to bear pistachio i guess, so i want faster way grafted trees are probably will take years to bear and also i read that both male and female trees are needed and only female bear pistachios, i know a place where there are pistachio trees, I was thinking of trying it and if she succeeded, she succeeded. what do you recommend me to do, anyone know about them?

You can graft a male branch on a female tree.
Or maybe there are already dioecious cultivars.
