Info on OBO mango
« on: February 27, 2018, 04:40:04 PM »
Can anyone give me info on OBO mango.
Picked this old tree up 3 weeks ago. It is currently flowering and holding pea size fruit.

Thanks

Or could be Ono, a Hawaiian cultivar that might be the one crossed with Turpentine to make polyembryonic Winters...

No Ive heard of Ono and Oro but Dongeorgio and excalibur have a cultivar on their list called OBO and it caught my attention when I saw it in person as a 3 gallon.  Thanks for chiming in.

Best Regards,
Alex

Here is a picture of a OBO mango that fruited on my tree. The fruit is completely fiberless and extremely sweet with little tartness at the end. Lychee, mango, pineapple flavors.
