This thread is the place to brag about huge fruits you've grown or seen! (pictures of other people's fruits online are fine to upload! but fruits belonging to forum members are the best!  We know we can pester them for advice and seeds! Lol)

I have a photo of my own I have to find and upload...it's of a record size miracle fruit...I've never seen it's equal since!

so go ahead everybody...start sharing pics of some giant fruits!  Maybe you'll set a new world record! or at least a forum record!

Jumping in on the categories "Biggest myrtaceae fruits"

first... here is my official candidate to the "Biggest pitangatuba"

second... my candidates to the category "biggest calycinas"

Last... here is my candidate on the category "biggest ubajaí"

Now... beat that!

I really think that an "Official Forum Certificate" would be great to complement this contest... anybody here with good designer skills?... the designer of the accepted certificate will be awarded with seeds of these top fruits...

13 lb. Mango, back in the late 70s, been trying to locate the tree, which I have been told still produces these monsters.

variety is called, "Caco de Hombre" loosely translates as "Mans Noggin ".

Hope to document one and send it to Guinness.

Here's a 46.2 Gram Lychee I grew. I know not the biggest but I grew it, and have an actual scale measurement.

That is agood lychee alright and I did post pix previously of FZS lychees all over 50g.The 2 strrains I mentioned were a smaller greener one and a larger redder selection That the pictures were of.They are grown on the same farms and just called standard and large FZS.I don't know if they were selected locally or brought seperately from China. The published sizes of some seem too conservative.
The giant seedless and erdon lee must be real whoppers.

Here are some Big Jim loquats I grew last year. Please note that there was a little stem left on the large fruit so even though the scale shows over 3.0 OZ, its actually weighs less because of the stem.  Notice in the other picture the Jumbo brown egg for size comparison.  I'm going to try to grow an X-large one this year.

Adam, I'm going to try to beat it this year. My tree was too young last year and I didn't water it as much as I should have if I wanted large fruit. I left about 3-5 fruit per pannicles last year and this year, I plan on thinning some of the bunches to a single fruit. I will update next year with pics of resulting fruit, flowers are just forming now.
