Thanks for the latest plants Ethan, they are settling in to their new home nicely. The Mac nuts , Black Sapote , and white pineapple you sent 9 months ago are thriving as well. All of the plants arrived with root structure that was a perfect time to transplant.

Just an FYI. Last I heard from Ethan was on 04/05 and he was having some serious problems with his computer and probably not out of the wood yet.

You'll see him at the GS tomorrow, give him my best wishes and we'll see him in the mango tasting in the summer.

Hey Ethan, Long time no see.

Im still growing bananas/ cados/ Lychee/ Longan/ guavas in Modesto....Cutdown my mighty Cherimoya a couple years ago....
But kinda got bored with fruit for awhile. Darn 20 year old seedling Jaboticabas wont fruit for me, yet miracle fruit ... fruit like crazy with the right tlc. My soil tends to be on the rich side????

My Latest passon are ficus, I see you have a large Ficus roxburgii for sale... do you think it would withstand being bare root shipped to modesto?
I have a couple smallish ones but I need something to go into my garden now.

My fav plant at the moment is Ficus Dammaropsis.... inground made it through our frigid early dec weather no prob.... ones i had in pots toasted at a protected 26f... they dont like being in cold pots.... though they dig full sun here.

Let me know if you still have the Ficus for sale?

Jeff

Woooo Hooo, I'm alive!!!  I finally upgraded my computer after 12 years, what a difference!  Plus a few other internet issues have been fixed so hopefully smooth sailing for another decade.  Thank you everyone for your kind words and patience, it'll take me just a bit to go through all the emails and PMs and the I'll start shipping things out.

Jeff, glad you found the forum, how are the banyan and lychee doing?  The ficus does not like to dry out and will drop it's leaves so I'd guess it'd be OK for barerooting but it need to be repotted so I'm not sure how much dirt weight is left?  You know how aggressive ficus roots can be.  Send me a PM and we can figure something out.

Thanks again everyone!
