4-5 sapodilla
2 strawberries (optional)
1 1/2 cup cold milk
ice cubes (optional)
imitation chocolate to garnish (optional)

Peel and remove the seeds from sapodillas.
Wash and cut strawberries into halves.
In a blender puree sapodillas and strawberries with milk.
Add ice if you like.
Blend more until it becomes really smooth.
Pour in two glasses.
Garnish with imitation chocolate.

I had a sapodilla yesterday that was good, but so sweet, I could barely finish it.  I was trying to think of what would go well with it, and I like the idea of strawberries.  As an American, I have grown up on that citric acid balance of sweet/sour.  Thanks for the recipe.  I will probably tweek it a little, but it's worth a shot.

The sapodilla as a very malty sweetness. Bananas are fairly neutral flavored and help mask a little bit of that cloying sweetness.
