we have very nice pitangas right now!
Hi Marcos,
I have three questions to ask you.
The Pitangas of this photo correspond to what in your Excel table?
The new variety of Pitanga Tangerine that you propose to what different from the reds that you already propose?
What variety of Pitanga do you prefer?
Thank you in advance for your answers .
Hello, No I dont have the one on the photo now. They all have some advantages, the big ones are usually not the sweetest but they are the easiest to process to make juices, ice creams, etc., and the flavor is good, similar to tangerines. The smaller ones are more useful to eat just like that but more complicated to harvest and process, I prefer the smaller ones to eat out of hand because they are sweeter.
I didnt tasted the Big red pitanga, Eldorado , but the collector told me it is good and I trust her.
Black pitanga, mid-size, Eldorado, Stock: 50 is good as almost all black ones.
I tasted Big red tangerine pitanga, Junin and I liked it, stronger taste. Not bad flavours. I dont sell the bad ones I know: I grow many more, but some of them are not good. I select and sell the good ones.
