I see one of the varieties is called Cold Hardy #8, but I can't find a description of that variety. Do you have one somewhere? What kind of cold can it handle?
I'm wanting to grow some in my greenhouse, which spends most of the winter with lows in the 40s (occasionally upper 30s, never freezing), and highs in the low 50s to mid 60s. And very little sun for a few months. Here's the current winter so far, which is pretty typical:

I have found that some things that can survive brief colder freezes in other climates can't survive even in the greenhouse due to our persistently cool winter, but some things seem more able to handle it than others. Not sure where sugar cane falls on that spectrum.
