Anyone here who succesfully grows sacha mango (Grias neuberthii)?

I have 2 small sachamangos, but they are Grias peruvianus.

How old they are? G. neuberthii germinated nearly 1 year- first sending small root downward and after 5 months it started to form shoot.

How old they are? G. neuberthii germinated nearly 1 year- first sending small root downward and after 5 months it started to form shoot.

They are 4 years old, and only about 2 feet tall. Not going to win any ferrari turbocharged speed records.  :(

So when it can produce flowers and fruits I will be older than pyramids in Egypt ;D

Don't know if species you have is as slow as mine. It's also possible that they start fruiting quite small. Don't know much about them.

It seems that G. neuberthii grows very slow. Its not very frequent outside the area of natural distribution.
