Borneo Red jakfruit

Just got another handful of Borneo red jakfruit trees if anyone else is looking for this variety. Let me know they go fast!!!

Bender I have seen pix of malaysian 'reds' that deep orange almost true red.Do those ones have a real red color to the flesh? Some of the deeper orange ones here get called reds at times.I saw an article about some of the odd indian types a few years ago.At one competition white fleshed,greenish fleshed and other usual types were entered.There is a general belief here that orange is better than yellow and it is the same with papaya.

I personally have not tasted the fruit but I hear it is exceptional.

That other thread is all coming back to me now.I'll see if I can uncover one of the articles with pix of non standard colors.

If you use pink colored glasses you will achievethat:  the way you want the world to look. HAHA
