Are you in search of a soursop variety that combines exceptional taste with impressive cold tolerance? Look no further! We proudly present Annona montana, also known as Mountain Soursop, a sweet and flavorful variety that stands apart from the rest. Unlike other subpar varieties that give the species a bad name, our Mountain Soursop promises a delightful culinary experience. Moreover, it withstands cold better than A. muricata, making it an ideal choice for diverse climates. Here’s why you should add Annona montana to your garden:

Exceptional Flavor: 🍈
Annona montana is celebrated for its rich flavor. While some varieties may disappoint, our Mountain Soursop seeds guarantee a taste that will exceed your expectations. Enjoy the fruit fresh, blend it into smoothies, or use it in desserts – the luscious taste of Annona montana is sure to impress. Traditional soursop  or graviola (Annona muricata) han an even better taste but it is not possible to be grown on non-tropical climates.

Cold-Hardy Resilience: ❄️
One of the standout features of Annona montana is its remarkable cold tolerance. This variety can endure cooler climates better than A. muricata, making it a perfect choice for regions where other soursop varieties struggle. With proper care, you can enjoy a plentiful harvest of fruits even in areas with mild winters.

High-Quality Seeds: 🌱
Our Annona montana seeds are sourced from reputable growers at Misiones and meticulously selected to ensure the highest quality. Each seed undergoes rigorous inspection for viability, giving you the best chance of growing healthy and productive soursop trees. Start your tropical fruit-growing journey with confidence with our premium seeds.

What's the lowest temperature that this species can handle once it's large and established?

It can withstand temperatures from 28 to 29°F (-2 to -1.7°C), but the favorable aspect is that it will not perish if temperatures drop below 41°F (5°C) during winters. On the other hand, Annona muricata below 41°F will shed its leaves and then re-sprout, a cycle that will repeat and drain all of its energy, potentially leading to its demise. Annona montana will be able to survive under the same climatic conditions.

Ok thanks unfortunately it gets much colder than that regularly in our winters here. We get into the low 20s or even teens fairly often.
