I got some from Berto a while back and they were not hard to germinate. Just like a Sugar Apple or Atemoya seed. Just file the tip and use the ziploc method. The problem is AFTERWARD. Once the seedling sprout, it seems to need a specific condition and I can't seem to pinpoint what that would be and they slowly perished.some annona are easier to germinate then others. Had some ilama that took forever. With some Annona, the only problem with the ziploc method is getting them to acclimate to the outside environment. Since the bag will hold so much humidity which is great for the sprout, but a huge difference from the outside. Try cutting holes or slowly opening the bag little at a time without letting them dry out too much. Get them slowly acclimatize before potting them up.
I'm going to try new growing method with this variety.
Highly recommend Andre, great seller always fresh, be prepared to wait long time for some annona to germinate. I experimented with soaking them in GA3 solution which worked great.. I have few that germinated already here is onegreat tip! I've used Gibberellic Acid 3 for different kinds of seeds that require cold stratification with great success. GA3 works great for annona seeds as well. Seeds that take long to germinate, GA3 will accelerate the process.
