As a native Californian, I had thought that Valencias were more of summer orange with sweetness increasing over time.

My tree does continue to have fruits though the year, but the next crop of fruits will not ripen for 2-3 months on this tree. Since it's a variegated Valencia orange tree, it is all confused. These frutis were from the few branches that have the normal green branches with regular colored fruts.
