According to the table on the first page of this discussion, paw paw has approximately 2,000 times the annonacin content of atemoya. Presuming this was indeed the causitive factor,  I would need to consume over 600,000 lbs of atemoya pulp in 10 years to get the same effect. Put another way, that is  167 pounds a day for 10 years. I think I'm safe.

This is great news, here I was thinking being an Annona Enthusiast was a death sentence

Similar to the Asunta line, is anyone working on their range of hybrids or breeding line for special traits such as the sweetest fruit, fastest-growing, (I forgot the term but) a plant that flowers early or heavily, etc.
My first hybrid to start my breeding line is Monocanthus x Undatus

If you do breed df, what tips do you have? What genetics to get into my line next? what genetics to leave out? These were just some questions I thought of just now.

What exactly is Orange Cotrg? How long does it take from seed to fruit?

Sold out before I found out the site was back up, anyone have any for sale? Seeds or seedling

It is common for seedling abiu to be bland and watery tasting, which is why some nurseries only sell grafted plants.  The Z varieties Iíve tried are very tasty with hints of vanilla and caramel

Is there anywhere to buy a grafted one online?

that orange annona is spinescens.

Its not spinescens for sure. Im growing spinescens and the leaf structure and growth habit is different.

Isnít it a smaller tree also? Dwarf?

Seeds taken by customs, first batch earlier this year came in fine. Whatís up with that

No shipping for the smaller plants?💔

Hello: you have to be careful about two things: first, it is a very rare species, originally obtained from Helton by a collector from my country, then I received a plant, I had fruits after a few years because it took a long time to produce. Be careful because it grows very very fast, it gets out of control in creeper mode and climbs all the trees in your garden! It is not for small spaces.

Secondly, it is not known if the fruit does not have certain toxic components, according to Helton there are many nutritional studies on the matter, but a friend of mine says that he got poisoned, so you have to be careful. It leaves my lips itchy, so it may be true about its toxicity.

I donít want any leaves or anything to end up making their dogs sick, considering all parts of theobroma affect them

Ahh I see, thank you

Will you guys do another order next year? Gotta give my self time to prepare to take care of them as I hear theyíre hard to grow

Will you ever have more of these?

Has anyone elseís seeds ben. Through multiple different facilities in the past month? As in over 8, itís like theyíre traveling everywhere in fl, right beside me, then to Miami, then back to me, etc etc

Tropical Fruit Discussion / What's your favorite fruiting shrub?
« on: August 25, 2022, 12:06:21 AM »
Broadening my search for ďfruit treesĒ that grow well in pots, Iím looking for uncommon/ rare fruiting shrubs, so far the only fruiting shrub (or tree that can be grown as a shrub) I have is Psidium myrtoides(supposedly sweet)

I went ahead and planted every seedling under the soap tasting citrus tree, wish I came here and saw these comments, thanks for your input guys, but my seedlings are around 5 months old, Iím not sure if thatís old enough to graft to a larger tree?

Yeah, Iím gonna keep it in small pots for few years and forget about it, hopefully in the next few years I stumble across it and it has flowers or something. Other than annonas, I think Iím gonna scrap my seedlings like lychee and sapodilla, and just buy grafted ones.
