Refreshing, mild flavor very crisp
The fruit are durable on and off the tree, displaying strong wind tolerance and bruising resitance. Great for travel, hence the name. The skin of the fruit has a unique textured ornate appearance, yellowish in color.

Typical star fruit, vigorous, wants to spread.

Loxahatchee/RPB Florida zone 10a(now b). Planted from seed a number of years ago by a local grower. It's a firm juicy fruit, definitely up there with common named cultivars.
