Has anyone done this before? I assume plenty of times, but a forum search didn't yield anything for me; must've not done the right key words or something.
I have some small chemp seedlings from fruit from Frankies I plan to approach graft onto some jacks.
It should help with root rot since jack roots can take the cold better, but of course, the chempedak section on top should be just as cold hardy as a regular chempedak which won't give me noticeable advantage and I assume my plant will die later when it gets colder in the greenhouse. But in FL, the main killer of these trees it seems to be is windburn, not the cold.
