November/December fruit crops
« on: September 19, 2021, 01:47:09 PM »
I am trying to plan a vacation in November/December and need your help.

Like all of you, I love fruit. Since I was eine Junge, I always enjoyed foraging for mushrooms and berries in the forests with Oma and Opa, as well as visiting markets for the day's local pick. Since growing up, I've taken to making trips down to south Florida and gotten to experience all kinds of tropical fruits - something I've grown to be passionate about.

Will there be any areas you could recommend, anywhere in the world, that will have an abundance of fruit or a strong culture of fruit active during the months of November/December? What fruits or products will be available?

Thanks!

Check Malaysia/Borneo for December.

Lindsay usually does an incredible job checking in with growers are predicting peak seasons.

What will be available? Durian?

How about Australia.

Do you know what will be in season?

Do the research on your own and find out what is most interesting to you. For me , no place in the world is better than Borneo for fruit hunting, November could still be slow but by December they will likely have a lot of fruit. Check Han sen’s thread in the fruit/ seeds for sale sub forum to get an idea of what you would find there
