GUAVA PESTS
« on: October 11, 2022, 12:33:53 PM »
Hi
have a nice 12ft guava tree that the fruit is now getting fairly large and either squirlls or mice/rats are eating the fruit.  Other than trying to cover each individual fruit is there another way to protect the fruit.  there are hundreds of fruit
Thanks

Unfortunately, while not experiencing it myself, I have heard from many people the only solution is to bag/cover the fruit

U can net thw whole tree, if it happens on a yearly basis i would suggest to maybe keep the plant shorter by pruning thus making it easier to net.
