What is wrong with my Glenn
« on: July 06, 2019, 06:58:32 PM »
Just recently bought this Glenn from Excalibur and planted it. Within a few weeks it flushed and the growth got quite scraggly. Anyone seen this or know if it's an issue?

It looks fine to me. Small, newly planted trees won’t flush as vigorously as larger established trees. You should clear the ground vegetation around your tree, probably a 2 foot radius or 4 foot diameter at a minimum and maybe expand it as the tree gets larger.

Alright, thanks for the input. I was hoping it wasn't some kind of deformity from fungus or bacteria. I'll definitely defoliate the ground and get some more mulch.
