Is this pot big enough?

The bottom of root ball falling off may mean you have root rot.

I gathered most of the roots for the picture. It was in a 15 gallon pot. The only reason the roots fell off is because the soil was wet when I moved it to a larger pot because I tried to spray of the poor soil it was potted in and I didn’t have the bottom of the root ball like I thought I did. And when I lifted it up the weight of it ripped off the bottom part.

Daintree:
Heck, that root loss is nothing. I can't move my tangor to a bigger pot, so every few years I dump it out of the pot, whack off half the roots, refresh the soil and cram it back into the pot.  Haven't killed it yet!
