A couple weeks ago i took a walk thru my garden at night with a flashlight and was surprised with i found! Huge infestations of spider webs and even saw some spiders on my 12 ft jabo and in my biggest lychee. It was quite a find cause u wouldnt notice them in the daytime. I was wondering which would be the best way to handle this cause ive taken many back and they just come back. Appreciate any help!

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Rollinia grafted on Anona Squamosa?
« on: January 22, 2021, 12:01:04 PM »
Has anyone ever attempted this graft?  Would be interesting to know if it works because this could help the rollinia grow on drier conditions and i assume quite possibly reducing vegetative growth because of squamosa’s nature.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Growing Marang (Artocarpus Odoratissimus)
« on: December 08, 2020, 06:10:08 PM »
A couple weeks ago i got my hands on 2 marang seedlings. I’ve been looking online for info on how to grow em but have found little to no information. Only thing i have heard a bit is that they do like lots of water, but not much regarding sun exposure, soil of preference, wind tolerance and nutrients i should look out for in this plant in particular. Any help given on these or just experience in general with the plant,  thanks :D

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Keepin my “Ultra Tropicals” safe!
« on: November 23, 2020, 12:51:35 PM »

So recently we got hit by two consecutive category 4 hurricanes here in Honduras, as soon as the almost 90 mile per hour winds started hitting i knew i had to put some of my ultra tropical seedlings on a safer place. Since ive imported most of these guys i didnt want to run any risks. The seedlings pictured are: 2 Macadamias, 1 Cambuca, 1 Rollinia, 1 Kepel Burahol, 1 Marang, 1 Mamey sapote, 1 Yellow Jaboticaba, and 1 Excalibur sapodilla. The Kepel and the Marang are the most recent additions to my collection, any help on growing these 2 would be amazing, such as sun exposure and how much water they like. Thanks for stopping by👊

So about 3 weeks ago i repotted one of my sapodillas. However this week i noticed some kind of spiderwebs or white fungi developing on the topsoil, which is new to me. Should i be concerned about this? Do i isolate this plant? How do i treat it if i need to?

Thanks for any help

I’ve been looking for Yellow Jabo, Pedalai, Sapodilla, and Rollinia. I’d appreciate you’re experience with the seller.  The more sites the merrier!!

So a couple months back i purchased 5 achacha plants (garcinia humilis) and planted them in 2 differrent spots my property. I planted 3 of them very close to a pond we have and close enough to allow crosspollination between them. The other 2 are planted in the same row in a drier part of my property. All of them are 3-4 ft  in height and taking almost full sun. As of now all of them look very good and have no signs of damage in our almost daily 30 degrees celsius waether. Any tips or experience with this plant would be greatly appreciated.
