Yuzu on Macrophylla in Los Angeles County: tristeza?

I ordered a Yuzu tree from Four Winds Growers recently. I asked them what the rootstock is and they said Macrophylla. I'm in Los Angeles County, where tristeza is endemic. Given Macrophylla's susceptibility to tristeza, should I be worried about the tree getting infected?

In California, Macrophylla is used as a rootstock primarily only on lemons.   As you mentioned in your post, Macrophylla is quite susceptible to California Tristeza isolates.  Many times infected trees become stunted rather then quick decline.

Thank you. Living in Los Angeles County, how concerned should I be about this? Is infection inevitable, like HLB in Florida? Or is it more something that could happen but probably won't?

W. P. Bitters, C, D. McCarty and D, A. Cole*) it seems like yuzu is itself a good rootstock. I'm considering air layering it above the graft union and just growing it on its own roots. Or maybe inarching with trifoliate.

You got the right idea, inarch trifolate, no sense in using tristeza sensitive rootstocks in Socal.
