Apple lower leaf drop with yellow/brown spots
« on: June 24, 2021, 05:26:22 PM »
I'm trying to grow apples in the tropics and got a batch of grafted stuff earlier this year. Out of all the varieties, William's pride started having some mottled yellowing & brown with leaf drop from the older leaves only while the newer leaves are fine. The other varities maintained their old leaves just fine. I want to think this is an NPK deficiency but since I have no experience with temperate stuff I want to be sure. The place is pretty humid/hot year round so I don't know if that's a factor for any latent disease it may have had.

Pics related are the worst case of the leaf yellowing and the affected trees. Any insight on this would be appreciated, thanks!
