Cherry scionwood question
« on: March 28, 2022, 10:09:06 AM »
Hi, i took some decorative japaneese cherry scions and most of the stems have flower buds. I have some growth buds that i can use but was wondering if i can also use the ones with flower buds. Are there any miniature growth buds hidden in the flower buds that can wake up after the flowers finish,or i was thinking of removing the individual flowers after they gain some size but before they flower, to promote any such growth buds to wake ??
Thanks !!

Yes you cannuse flower buds.  It will send out leaves next.  Just leave the flowers and let it grow.
