Zands, your trees looks great, specially the heavily laden fruit!
My trees are in their 4th summer, and this is the first year they have put out a substantial number of mangoes. Used a handful of potassium sulfate couple of times last year. Haven't sprayed anything this year, but they seem to be doing okay.
Tropical Storm Colin approaching, so the branches of the trees are bowing under the weight of the rain, but here goes (pics taken minutes ago):
Mallika first - should get 30-35 mangoes this year (there are more on the other side):
Pickering ... Last 6 mangoes still on the tree, waiting to see if they will grow any bigger. Harvested 26 on Saturday, put them in the garage (cardboard box, newspapers) to ripen. Gave the tree a heavy trim; it's more bush than tree, so I cut the lowest branches that were dragging on the ground and mulched them. Hoping to induce some vertical growth.
Neelam is also bushy, but still twice the size of the Pickering. Once the mangoes come off, the lowest branches need to be removed.
